01 · Arrive
Turn into Rexburg Rapids from W 2nd N. As shown on the map, use the right-hand lane to enter and the left-hand lane to exit.
Keep moving through the drive lanes to the marked parking areas.
02 · Park
General parking is marked with a P on both sides of Rexburg Rapids, including the rows beside the viewing plaza.
Park in a marked space, then make your way to the outdoor viewing area in front of the show.
03 · Watch outdoors
The main viewing area is the gold-highlighted plaza in front of Rexburg Rapids. This is an outdoor event, so plan to enjoy the lights outside.
Warm layers, a hat, gloves, and sturdy footwear will help you settle in for a December evening together.
04 · Vehicle viewing
The purple-marked spaces southwest of the viewing plaza are for guests who need to watch from their vehicles.
First come, first served. Please use these spaces for vehicle viewing and keep the drive lanes open.
05 · Keep lanes clear
The red-hatched roadway is a no-stopping zone beside the viewing plaza and around the head of the center island.
Keep drive lanes clear at all times. Watch from the outdoor plaza or the designated vehicle-viewing spaces.
Good to know
No. The light show is free for everyone. There are no tickets and no reservations. On opening night, vendors at the community celebration offer optional purchases.
Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays in December 2026, 6–9 pm Mountain time. There is no show on Christmas Day. The final show is New Year’s Eve, Thursday, December 31. See the calendar
